Suspended Thoughts

Is it just me, or is this the dumbest notable day (actually not a holiday) ever?  Just think about this: when was the last day you can remember where no one pulled a prank or at least messed with someone?  NEVER.  That would be like celebrating America’s birthday every day of the year, but July 4th is obviously the best day to do it…  I don’t know.  That was a horrible analogy, but I just think a notable day could be used for a better cause.  NATIONAL GLOBAL WARMING DAY!  Oh, wait… that too is every day.

Well, I was talking to Jack (from jackcomeau.blogspot.com, Twittering here) on Skype.  He made his blog a few days ago (very good, not the news ticker you get elsewhere), and I was thinking about buying a domain for myself.  I decided I should try blogging a bit before I get myself paying for two years or whatever to a host and finding out it’s not for me. We were using some word generators and such, but I couldn’t really come up with something I liked.  Most of the things we were thinking of were dozens of characters long, most of which couldn’t be found in your run-of-the-mill dictionary.  All of a sudden, Jack just blurted (typed) “suspended thoughts.”  I started spazzing.  Actually, not really.  But I loved it.  And it is what I’m using now.
